1. How T-shirt printing for Queensland works
You do not need to be in Brisbane to order. Customers in the Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, Toowoomba, Townsville, Cairns, Mackay, Rockhampton, Bundaberg and regional communities can order online and select the available shipping method at checkout. We also ship beyond Queensland. The production work is based in Coorparoo; a parcel’s transit time depends on the address and the delivery service selected.
Local customers can choose collection for eligible orders once they receive a ready notification and the relevant collection instructions. Our contact page lists the current workshop address and counter hours: 17 Castlemaine Street, Coorparoo QLD 4151. The business originally operated as The Custom T Shirt Shop in Norman Park; this article keeps its 2011 publication history while reflecting the current Coorparoo location.
For an event in regional Queensland, allow time for the whole journey: garment availability, production, dispatch and postal transit. A faster printing service and faster postage solve different parts of that timetable.
2. Choose a T-shirt that suits the wearer and the conditions
Queensland orders can range from everyday staff shirts and school events to outdoor promotions and retail merchandise. Start with the wearer, rather than assuming the lightest shirt is always right for warm weather. A lightweight cotton tee may feel comfortable for casual wear; a suitable performance fabric may make more sense for sport; a substantial cotton shirt may suit merchandise designed for a structured look.

- Fabric and care: cotton, polyester or a blend, plus any wash requirements for the finished item.
- Fit and size: regular, fitted, relaxed and oversized patterns differ. Compare the specific size chart with a garment the wearer already likes.
- Colour: does it suit the organisation and give enough contrast to the design?
- Print area: confirm the chosen placement and product limits before finalising the artwork.

3. How we print custom T-shirts
T Shirts Australia offers DTG and DTF printing for eligible custom garments. We choose the method to suit the selected garment and artwork. A suitable white cotton T-shirt may often be printed by DTG for a light feel; a dark shirt may often use DTF for strong coverage. Those are production preferences, not absolute limits of either method.
- DTG (direct to garment): ink is printed directly onto suitable fabric. It can work well for detailed artwork and photographic designs on appropriate cotton garments.
- DTF (direct to film): artwork is printed to film and transferred to a suitable garment with heat. It can be practical for varied colours, logos and many compatible cotton, polyester and blended garments.
Neither method is automatically suitable for every coated, stretch or heat-sensitive garment. Fabric dye, artwork coverage, placement and print feel affect the result. We do not offer screen printing or embroidery as current custom garment services; those methods are discussed for comparison, rather than as checkout options.
4. Prepare the artwork before choosing a deadline
Artwork is printed as supplied, so inspect it at the intended size. A design that looks clean on a phone can become blurry when enlarged across a shirt. A high-resolution PNG with transparency is a useful format for many online orders; follow the requirements for the selected product and see our print-ready artwork guide for file and resolution advice.
- Check spelling, dates, team names, numbers and sponsor details.
- Make sure the original file is sharp enough at the finished print dimensions.
- Remove unintended background boxes and stray pixels.
- Review the design against the garment colour and the selected print position.
- Confirm you have permission to reproduce the artwork and any logos.
For personalised shirts, provide a clear list pairing each name or number with the correct shirt size and colour. When a date matters, resolve artwork changes before placing the order. Redrawing a low-resolution logo or correcting names may require extra time.
5. Production, shipping and Brisbane collection are separate stages

These are production guides, not promised arrival dates. Check the estimate on the particular item before checkout. Weekends and Queensland public holidays are outside business-day production; stock or unusual order requirements can affect availability. Orders shipped across Queensland use the options offered at checkout. Urgent order example: a Townsville customer who orders an eligible same-day shirt before the cut-off may have it produced in Brisbane that business day. Postal delivery to Townsville still happens later. If the shirt is needed for an event tonight, same-day production in Brisbane cannot solve that transport time.
6. Custom printed, blank or BYO: choose the right route
We supply and print your shirt
Start with the custom T-shirt range to select a garment, size, colour and design. This route is generally the simplest when you want the garment and print supplied together, including eligible priority production options.
You want an unprinted garment
Browse blank T-shirts if you need plain shirts for daily wear, resale or your own project. Check the particular blank product’s handling estimate and size chart; custom printing timelines do not automatically apply to blanks.
You already own the garment
Use the BYO service for accepted customer-supplied T-shirts. Read the garment exclusions and risk terms before buying or posting shirts: not every material or item is suitable for heat and printing. Drop-off at Coorparoo and mail-in are available under that service, but same-day BYO is not. Postal BYO orders follow a separate artwork, mock-up and payment process.
7. Planning uniforms, clubs and Queensland events
For teams, schools, markets and businesses, the biggest preventable delays are often missing sizes, late artwork changes and an event date that did not allow for freight. Pick one or more exact garments, collect sizes using their individual charts and confirm the number of print positions before ordering. If colour consistency across sizes is important, check availability of the style and colour you intend to use.

Do you print T-shirts for customers outside Brisbane?
Yes. Eligible custom shirts are printed in Coorparoo and can be shipped across Queensland and elsewhere in Australia. Delivery time and cost depend on the address and the shipping option at checkout.
Where can I collect a Brisbane order?

Can I get same-day delivery to another Queensland city?
