Quick Answer
BYO (Bring Your Own) T-shirt printing lets you supply your own garments and have them printed at T Shirts Australia in Brisbane. Standard production is about 10 business days after full payment. Express is available for +$7.50 per garment (3–4 business days production). Same Day is not available on BYO. Drop-off at Norman Park is preferred; mail-in is accepted. Artwork must be print-ready (PNG/EPS, 300 DPI). We do not create or redraw artwork. BYO printing is at your risk — we cannot replace supplied garments. Minimum order: 1 garment. Prices include GST.

How it works — drop-off (preferred)
- Prepare garments: remove packaging, bags, stickers and hang tags. Prefer new, unworn, unwashed items.
- Bring garments to Shop 6, 50 Hume Street, Norman Park QLD 4170 during business hours (Mon–Fri 9:00am–2:00pm).
- We create the order in-store. Bring print-ready artwork on USB if possible. A mock-up is highly preferred (screenshots from our online designer are fine).
- Confirm placement and size (front, back, sleeves). Pay in store at drop-off.
- Production starts after full payment. Collect later or arrange Australia Post shipping.
How it works — postal / mail-in
Before you post: Email your artwork, mock-up and any special instructions to printing@tshirtsaustralia.au.
- Email artwork + mock-up (+ special instructions) to printing@tshirtsaustralia.au before you post.
- Prepare garments (unbagged; packaging, stickers and hang tags removed).
- Include a USB stick in the parcel with: artwork, mock-up, special instructions, and a text file containing your name, mobile, email and postal address.
- Also write your name, phone and email clearly with the parcel contents / packing note.
- Post to Shop 6, 50 Hume Street, Norman Park QLD 4170. From 14 September 2026, use 17 Castlemaine Street, Coorparoo QLD 4151.
- When garments arrive, we email a Square invoice. Pay the invoice in full.
- Handling/production time starts only after full payment is received. Finished orders can be picked up or shipped Australia-wide (flat-rate shipping added to the invoice and paid before dispatch).

Pricing for BYO T-Shirt Printing
Prices are per garment, per placement. GST included. First print (any single placement): $25.00. Each additional print (back, sleeves, etc.): $15.00. Volume discounts apply automatically based on quantity. Extra-large prints, special placements or specialty prints may require a quote.

If a garment is unsuitable on arrival, we will contact you and return it unprinted. Return postage is charged at actual Australia Post cost.

Supplied garments waiver
When you provide garments for BYO printing, the printing is at your own risk. Supplied items vary in fabric, dye and construction, and may react differently to heat and inks. We cannot guarantee results or replace BYO garments if issues occur (misprints, dye migration, press marks, shrinkage, etc.). For guaranteed results, choose from our stocked garments where we control both the blank and the print.

FAQs
Can you print on any T-shirt?
We recommend new, unworn, unwashed garments. Cotton is best; polyester and blends are fine with DTF. Performance fabrics should be tested first. TEMU, SHEIN and the exclusions listed above are not accepted.
Do you offer Same Day on BYO?
No. Same Day is not available for BYO. If you need printing today, order a selected stocked Same Day product — see Same Day Custom T-Shirt Printing Brisbane.
Do you offer embroidery?
Not at this time. Current BYO methods are DTG and DTF only.
When does the turnaround clock start?
Only after full payment is received.
Do you create artwork?
No. We do not create or redraw artwork for BYO. Supply print-ready files and a mock-up (required for postal orders).
Are these iron-on transfers?
No. We use professional DTG and DTF printing methods for durable results.
How should I wash printed garments?
Cold wash, inside out. Do not bleach. Avoid high-heat tumble drying. Do not iron directly on the print.
Can I pick up or get shipping?
Yes. Local pickup is available from our Norman Park store, and we ship Australia-wide with Australia Post. For postal BYO orders, outbound shipping is flat rate and paid on the Square invoice before dispatch.
