Why We Recommend the PA440

The PA440 is a useful option when a customer wants a cotton T-shirt that feels lighter than a conventional heavyweight tee. Its 140gsm fabric is well suited to warmer conditions, indoor events, promotions and everyday branded clothing.

The reinforced shoulder seams, double stitching around the neck and two-layer rib neckline give it more structure than a basic lightweight promotional shirt. Its smooth cotton surface also provides a suitable base for detailed digital printing.

It is important to understand that this is a lightweight, modern-fit tee. It is not an oversized, heavyweight or relaxed streetwear garment. Customers wanting a slightly heavier cotton shirt may prefer the Printer Activewear Men’s Printer 160 Tee. Customers needing a polyester shirt for running, training or active use may find the PA408 Run Active Tee more suitable.

Fabric and Garment Details

Most PA440 colours are made from 100% cotton with a fabric weight of 140gsm. Grey Melange is made from 85% cotton and 15% viscose, which gives that colour its marled appearance.

The garment has a round crew neckline, set-in sleeves and a modern men’s fit. Reinforced shoulder seams help support the garment’s shape, while the two-layer stretch rib neckline and double stitching around the neck provide additional structure.

The supplier lists the PA440 as OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified. This is a supplier garment certification and is separate from the custom decoration added by T Shirts Australia.

Custom Printing

Your design can be printed on the front, back, left sleeve, right sleeve or other available positions shown in the online designer. The maximum usable print size depends on the garment size, artwork proportions and selected position. A standard front or back print can be up to approximately 400 × 450mm where the garment allows.

We use DTF or DTG digital printing according to the garment colour, artwork and required result. Our production team selects the appropriate method rather than expecting customers to choose between technical printing processes.

The garment price and any additional print-position charges are shown while you build your order. Printing in more than one area will increase the finished price.

Artwork Requirements

For the cleanest result, upload a high-resolution PNG with a transparent background. Artwork should be supplied at the required proportions and ready to print. Very small text, thin lines, low-resolution images and heavily compressed files may not reproduce clearly.

Before submitting your order, check the spelling, placement, scale and garment colour shown in the online preview. We print using the artwork and order information supplied at checkout.

If colour matching is important, please be aware that screens display colours differently and digital printing is not a Pantone colour-matching process. Contact us before ordering if your artwork has a critical colour requirement.

Screen settings and lighting can affect how garment colours appear. Grey Melange also has a visibly different texture because it uses an 85% cotton and 15% viscose blend.

Available Sizes

Available sizes are XS, S, M, L, XL, 2XL, 3XL, 4XL and 5XL. Not every size is necessarily available in every colour, so the selectable options on the product page provide the most relevant current availability.

Because the PA440 has a modern fit, we recommend checking the size guide rather than ordering from the size name alone. Compare the garment measurements with a T-shirt you already own and like wearing.

Production, Collection and Delivery

Standard handling is 6–10 business days and begins after your order and print-ready artwork have been received. Handling time is the time required to prepare and produce the order; it does not include delivery time.

Completed orders can be collected from our Coorparoo collection point after you receive confirmation that they are ready. Australia-wide delivery is also available, with shipping options and costs shown during checkout.
